Welcome

Our regular worship service is held on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. in West LA (map). Childcare is provided during the service. We have ministries for the whole family on Sundays and throughout the week. There is the Careers Group for adults, College groups on various campuses, Youth groups, and JOYland for children.

At LBC, our vision is to be like the 1st century church found in the Bible, here in the 21st century. We strive to be a church with applicable teaching, authentic friendships, earnest prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. We believe our faith should permeate all areas of our lives, from home to school to work; this is what we mean by “life in Christ, life together.” Simply put, we want to carry out Jesus’ Great Commandments (to love God and to love one another) and his Great Commission (to make disciples of all nations) in our church, our community and abroad.

Whether you’re someone who’s investigating Christianity, a Christian looking to grow more deeply in your relationship with God or somewhere in between, we invite you to join us and embark on a spiritual journey to seek out true meaning and fulfillment in life.
